Join us for the BCLC Annual Invitational Event – the BCLC Ramble! This captivating recreational bike ride kicks off at the scenic Wilmot Mountain Tubing Chalet in Wilmot, Wisconsin. With a diverse range of routes to choose from – 22, 30, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 100 miles – there’s a journey for every cyclist.

The BCLC Ramble is not just a ride; it’s an experience! Each route is fully supported with SAG (Support and Gear) to ensure a worry-free ride. Indulge in our renowned rest stops, offering refreshments and a chance to mingle with fellow cyclists.

The adventure weaves through the picturesque lakes region of northeast Illinois and southeast Wisconsin, presenting riders with breathtaking views and a serene backdrop. This event is a haven for cyclists of all skill levels, from casual riders to seasoned enthusiasts. SUNDAY, JUNE 9, 2024

  • $30 registration fee online at ACTIVE.COM
  • GPS files will be available to download the week before the event.
  • Ride 22, 30, 50, 60, 70, 80 or 100 miles
  • Routes open 6 am – 4:00 pm
  • Fully stocked rest stop in Genoa City
  • SAG service until 4:00 pm
  • On-site emergency repairs available
  • Ramble fee includes marked roads, maps, SAG, rest stop with food and live music, and post-ride cookout.

 

          

This Year's Ramble is the "Jackie Robinson Ride"

At this time of year, many of us are excited about the start of a new baseball season and look forward to attending games, eating hot dogs, or watching our favorite team on TV.  The start of the season also harkens to the return of warmer days and great weather for riding our beloved bicycles.  In that spirit, we are naming this year’s Ramble—the 42nd— “The Jackie Robinson Ride,” in honor of the baseball great who wore number 42.  As a unique feature of the Ramble, participants will win prizes based on how far they ride: 

 

  • A Single (22-35 miles) will earn a packet of Cracker Jacks
  • A Double (36-65 miles) will earn a Culver’s treat
  • A Triple (66-99 miles) will earn a Portillo’s Italian beef sandwich
  • A Home Run (100+) miles will earn all three above!
